Margaret Atwood is best known for her work as a novelist. Her novel The Handmaid’s Tale won the first Arthur C. Clarke award in 1987 and has been adapted into an Emmy Award-winning series on Hulu. Her work has earned her numerous other awards, including the Nebula Award and the Prometheus Award. Atwood is also an accomplished poet, environmental activist, and inventor.
